1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Wid Connect mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Wid Connect, LLC, a company incorporated in the United States of America ("Wid Connect," "we," "us," or "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering a binding contract, not barred from using the Service under applicable law, and have not previously been suspended or removed. The Service is intended for individuals seeking a lawful marriage partner in accordance with Islamic principles. It is not a general dating application. By registering, you confirm that your intent is genuine matrimonial interest.

3. Account Registration and Security

You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete information when creating your account and profile. Misrepresenting your identity, marital status, intentions, or material profile information may result in suspension. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us at legal@wid-connect.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Each person may hold only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or misrepresent yourself is prohibited.

4. Profile Content, Verification, and Photos

You are solely responsible for content you submit, including profile information, photos, prompt answers, and messages. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to submit that content. Profile photos must be real, recent photos of you alone. Content may not contain other individuals without consent, nudity or sexually explicit material, offensive, violent, or hateful imagery, watermarks, advertisements, contact information, or material that infringes third-party rights. During onboarding, we may ask you to submit an in-app verification selfie. You must submit your own image and may not misrepresent your identity. Verification material is used for account verification and safety review and is not displayed as profile content. Some private chat photos and videos may automatically expire and be removed from storage after expiration. By uploading content, you grant Wid Connect a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or is inappropriate for the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users; send unsolicited promotional messages or spam; solicit money, financial information, or gifts; impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation; share another user's personal information without consent; promote escort services, prostitution, or illegal activity; sexually abuse, exploit, groom, sextort, traffic, solicit, or endanger a child, or create, request, upload, distribute, store, share, or facilitate child sexual abuse material (CSAM); reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service; use automated bots, scripts, or similar tools; circumvent security features or access controls; upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content; or use the Service for anything other than genuine matrimonial intent. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund where permitted by law.

6. Matching and AI-Assisted Compatibility

AI-generated compatibility scores, reports, and activity content are provided for informational and guidance purposes only. They are not guarantees of romantic compatibility, marital success, or another user's character. Exercise your own judgment. AI-generated assessments are based on information users provide and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely solely on scores or reports when making decisions about potential partners. Wid Connect makes no representation that use of the Service will result in a match or marriage. Wid Connect facilitates introductions; relationship outcomes are the responsibility of the individuals involved.

7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Free accounts may create an ad-free profile, browse compatible profiles, use matching filters, view compatibility snapshots, and message mutual matches. Private relationship activities may be included with Premium or available as a one-time add-on for one mutual connection when available for that connection. Premium subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing, with RevenueCat helping provide entitlement access across platforms. You agree to the applicable store's terms. Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Some features may be available as a separate one-time purchase for one mutual connection. A one-time add-on does not create a subscription and cannot be transferred to another connection. Purchase verification is handled through Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. You may manage or cancel a subscription through the applicable app store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and Premium access remains available through that date. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

8. Safety and Community Standards

Report conduct that makes you feel unsafe or violates these Terms through the app or at legal@wid-connect.com. We take reports seriously.

Child Safety and CSAE

Wid Connect is for adults 18 years or older, as stated in Section 2. Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is strictly prohibited. This includes grooming, sextortion, child sex trafficking, and any sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of a child. Users must not create, request, upload, distribute, store, share, or facilitate child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Report suspected CSAE or CSAM through the in-app reporting feature or at legal@wid-connect.com. Do not download, forward, or attach suspected CSAM to a report; provide relevant account or profile information and describe your concern instead. After learning of CSAM on the Service, Wid Connect will take appropriate action, including removing it, and report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority, consistent with applicable law. Accounts involved may be permanently banned.

In-app voice calls are provided for matched users, but Wid Connect does not record call audio. If you meet another user in person, use a safe, public place and consider bringing a trusted companion, such as a wali. Wid Connect is not responsible for interactions outside the Service. We have zero tolerance for threats of violence, sexual exploitation, fraud, or hate speech. Accounts involved in this behavior may be permanently banned and reported to authorities where required.

9. Intellectual Property

Rights in the Wid Connect application, including its design, software, trademarks, logos, and content created by us, are owned by Wid Connect, LLC or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, user profile information will be accurate or truthful, AI compatibility scores will reflect real-world compatibility, or the Service will be free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WID CONNECT, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or USD $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wid Connect, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your access to or use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We may suspend or terminate your account with or without notice for conduct that violates these Terms, harms other users, the Service, or third parties, or for another reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will survive.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email and update the effective date above. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
